Brian Deslauriers

Brian brings varied public and private sector experience to the position of President. With the Ontario Government he focused on public transit (the subject of his Ph.D. thesis), strategic planning and development of energy saving programs. He then joined DMR to produce a report on IT trends in 200 companies, and following this, Brian started DPN, a digital print co., whose success was linked to developing easy to use online client interfaces.

As President, Brian's role is to develop and drive GreenKite's strategic growth by focusing on our clients' evolving needs and by continuing to empower our highly capable team. When not flying his green kite, Brian enjoys running, golf, tennis, and X-C skiing.

Mark Brombacher

VP Client Solutions

Mark has over 10 years of experience as a web application developer.  The majority of his career has revolved around finding ways to make owning and managing a web presence a painless, user friendly experience.  GreenKite is the natural culmination of this line of thinking.  Mark is the central creative force behind GreenKite Tickets and GreenKite CMS, but he  is also committed to taking a hands on role in nearly every client project to ensure that each client has the same positive experience.

Chris McVey

With more than 20 years experience in systems design and analysis, Chris has been instrumental in increasing GreenKite’s flexibility and efficiency and expanding GreenKite’s functionality with an eye to even greater future expansion. Chris has also taken the lead role in developing custom GreenKite solutions involving financial and forms management applications.

Mohammed Layes

Before discovering IT, Mohammed aspired to a tennis career and played in several semi-pro Challenger Series events. At GreenKite, he is the major point of contact for many clients and also applies his IT, programming technologies and database languages skills to the continuing development of GreenKite.

Mohammed has travelled the world and held IT positions in the USA and Canada. He has strong technical underpinnings from Management Information Systems at Bloomsburg University and a post-diploma internet development course at the University of Toronto.

Steve Mackey

An award-winning former classical animator, Steve is responsible for website design and development. He holds a post-graduate diploma in Animation Filmmaking from Sheridan College, and brushed up his skills with a second postgrad in Interactive Multimedia at Algonquin College. Aside from his digital pursuits, Steve enjoys chasing after his husky and young daughter at High Park.
